Fruits in Japan

Delicious fruits are abundantly harvested in Japan. There are four seasons, so there are delicious fruits in each season. In spring, cherries, strawberries, and melons. Watermelon, grapes and peaches in summer. Autumn is pears, persimmons and apples. In winter, there are oranges and citrons. It is closely related to seasonal customs, such as taking a bath with yuzu on a cold winter day and eating watermelon chilled on the porch in a hot summer day.
