Kutani-ware
Kutani-ware is painted porcelain that boasts a 360 year old history. This traditional craft represents Ishikawa prefecture.
The five graceful colors (red, green, yellow, purple, and navy) have been preserved to this day, and are a popular scheme, giving the feeling of Japanese hue.
Hanazume 花詰 (Flower Condensation)
This is a popular color scheme. This scheme was introduced in 1913 by Shiro Mizuta, a skillful craftsman from Kanazawa, Ishikawa-prefecture.
A flower pattern covers the entire surface, and the flower outlines are painted in gold.
This scheme is representative of gorgeous Kutani-ware.
